Mobile showguide for IBC2009 bigger and better than ever

Stikibak is again supplying mobile showguide technology for the prestigious International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam. This five day event is the premiere European Exhibition and Conference for the broadcast industry which attracts more than 40,000 visitors and 1,400 exhibitors to the RAI centre.

Stikibak provides a complete showguide service to the event which allows visitors to download to their phones a complete list of  exhibitors, hall maps, the conference programme and information about the event and facilities available.

The guide is made available to visitors in advance of the show through ibc2009.mobi. Directing their phone browser to this address automatically downloads and installs the showguide application onto a java enabled mobile.

In addition, the guide is also available at the show through special 'beaming stations' which broadcast the guide via bluetooth.

Stikibak created and designed all the show guide content, built the application and provided the website hosting and the 'in-hall' bluetooth technology.
