Stikibak showguide deployed at IBC Amsterdam 2006

For the sixth year running Stikibak was chosen to provide the mobile show guide for the International Broadcasting Convention. This event is the major European exhibition and conference of the global broadcast industry and is a showcase of the latest technology and foremost business ideas in electronic media.

The 2006 event was held in the 12 halls of the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam from 8th-12th September. 44,808 visitors attended the event – with 1,289 exhibiting companies.

Stikibak created and designed a show guide that attendees were able to download in advance through the IBC's website, or pick up through Infrared / Bluetooth Access points positioned around the exhibition.

The guide stikibak designed included an interactive floor plan, a full listing of the exhibitors with their stand numbers and contact details, as well as the full conference programme. For the first time the guide was available to users of an extensive range of mobile phones, Palm and Pocket PC devices and included the capability for users to add exhibitors information to their device's address book.
